About Resizing Pictures

Resizing pictures can be made very easy with online tools such as resizemypicture.com. However, there are a few things to note when shrinking or enlarging a photo for the web.

You cannot enlarge a small photograph without experiencing Pixelation, where the image looks jagged, blurry, or both. To eliminate pixellation, you will need a higher quality (higher resolution) picture to start with. If you still have the original picture from your digital camera, it will most likely be large enough to work with - it's always best to make a large picture smaller than to try to expand a small picture, because making a photo bigger will almost always result in loss of quality and clarity.
